FLUKE DERBY !! 

HEAVIEST FLUKE CAUGHT WINS A SEASON PASS FOR 2025 IN PORT JEFFERSON

*PLEASE READ DERBY RULES*

DERBY RULES : Winner is declared by first mate using a balance beam. 

WINNER WILL RECIEVE A SEASON PASS FOR THE 2025 PORT JEFFERSON SEASON!!

In the event of a tie : fish will be put on a digital scale at dock and the Captain will declare the winner. The Captain has final say.

 If both fish weigh the same amount on the scale - each person will receive a season pass. If two boats sail on May 4th for the Derby, each boat will get its own season pass. In the unlikely event that no fish are caught, the season pass will be raffled off.

 Season pass is non-transferable ownership The winner can not gift the season pass to anyone else. It is for the 2025 season in Port Jefferson. Season pass has no cash value.

 There are no limits on how many trips you can do per week, we hope to see you every day! Reservations are still required and can be made by calling the office. Season pass does not extend to private charters but does extend to specialty trips like our long range sea bass trips.

* Anyone caught trying to alter the weight of their fish will be disqualified AND banned from all port Jefferson party boats for life.*

 Although rods and rigs are provided personal tackle and custom rigs and your own bait are always allowed in all derby's.

We will be targeting FLUKE and FLUKE only. We will not be switching to any other fish during these trips. If you are interested in catching porgies don't worry our porgy derby is right around the corner!
