WINNER WILL RECIEVE A SEASON PASS FOR THE 2024 PORT JEFFERSON SEASON!!

Each date will have its own winner!  

In the event of a tie : fish will be put on a digital scale at dock and the Captain will declare the winner. The Captain has final say.

 If both fish weigh the same amount on the scale - each person will receive a season pass.

 Season pass is non-transferable ownership The winner can not gift the season pass to anyone else. It is for the 2024 season in Port Jefferson. Season pass has no cash value.

 There are no limits on how many trips you can do per week, we hope to see you every day! Reservations are still required and can be made by calling the office. Season pass does not extend to private charters but does extend to specialty trips like our long range sea bass trips.

* Anyone caught trying to alter the weight of their fish will be disqualified AND banned from all port Jefferson party boats for life.*

 Although rods and rigs are provided personal tackle and custom rigs and your own bait are always allowed in all derby's.

We will be targeting FLUKE and FLUKE only. We will not be switching to any other fish during these trips. If you are interested in catching porgies don't worry our porgy derby is right around the corner!

**Wooden stakes not necessary**

Although a fishing trip is a social activity, we ask that only an acceptable amount of beer is brought.  Please leave the hard stuff at home. Any hard alcohol will be asked to be left in your car or brought upstairs and you can have it back at the end of the trip.  This is a very strictly-enforced policy.

All rods are set up prior to boarding. If you are meeting another party please put it in special requirements so you can fish next to your friends or inform the office when booking.  Join us for this special introductory fishing trip for kids 10 and under!

This trip was designed specifically as a short, introductory fishing trip geared toward younger kids 10 and under.    RESERVATIONS REQUIRED.

Cost is $75 per 1 adult and 1 child.  EVERY CHILD MUST HAVE AN ACCOMPANYING ADULT. Each child and adult will be fishing AS A TEAM, TOGETHER. ONLY ONE ROD PER TEAM. This trip is only for a 1:1 ratio, one adult cannot have more than 1 child on this trip. Extra adults can be added at a cost of $40 per adult.

The $75 fare includes 1 fishing rod, bait and tackle for 1 adult and 1 child to fish together as a team.  We will go out on this short 2-1/2 hour trip so parents can help kids get acquainted with fishing!  All children under the age of 10 are welcome with an accompanying adult to fish together with them.  

The Osprey is a federally inspected vessel.  The rails are over 36 inches tall.  Children are not required to wear PFDs (personal flotation devices) while fishing.  PFDs will only be given out in the unlikely event of an emergency.  If you own a life jacket and prefer your child to wear it during your fishing trip, you are more than welcome to bring one with you, but it is not necessary or a requirement.

PARKING: To park in the marina parking lot, you need be a Town of Brookhaven resident with a parking permit. and non-residents can pay at the meter by inputting their license plate number and paying with either card or cash. Residents can purchase a permit online at Brookhaven.gov with proof of residency. Meters are enforced from 8:00AM to 8:00PM. It is $4.00 per hour to park in the lot by the boat.
